A role you will love
As the Global Head of Plans Support at Computershare, you will lead our 2nd and 3rd level Application Support and Platform teams across key regions including EMEA, Oceania, and the Americas. You will be responsible for overseeing IT service and application management for systems used by our Plans business and their clients.
Our Plans business is one of Computershare's largest business lines, dealing with the administration of employee share plans for companies across the globe. We have over 35 years of experience in this field and are an industry leader in creating innovative plan designs and implementing engaging enrolment campaigns
In this role, you will play a key part in the integration of global teams, focusing on operational efficiency and customer service through global process alignment, while helping to shape the target operating model of the future. Working closely with all areas of the technology department, this role will help to shape the product strategy and support the Global CIO on delivering the overall technology road map for CPM.
Other key responsibilities:
- Provide Leadership and support to staff providing 2nd and 3rd Line support across each region.
- Ensure systems are maintained and managed within agreed service level and in line with company policy or standards.
- Drive process improvement, consistency, and global alignment throughout the group. Make use of automation, capacity and configuration management, monitoring solutions and other relevant tools and techniques.
- Proactively build professional relationships with other technical teams and key business stakeholders. Act as a business partner to support the business objectives.
- Support IT assurance and compliance processes while effectively managing risk within the Application Management Group.
What will you bring to the role?
As this position is leading a technical function, you will need to have experience working in a global technology environment with knowledge of various technologies and support models. You will also need to be able to build great relationships with people from across the business through excellent stakeholder management skills.
You will be a collaborative person who enjoys leading a team and is able to discuss challenges in a way that helps others to see them, understand them, and work through them.
Some other key skills that you'll have:
- Excellent leadership experience with the ability to set direction, share values, and motivate and engage your team
- Experience with complex support environments, preferably within financial services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including international stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing large, multi-tiered technical teams.
- Experience working in an ITIL framework environment and proficiency with ITSM tools and software
- Experience across the application lifecycle with a solid understanding of the technology architecture and integration layers
- Experience of technologies such as, Linux, SQL, Java, SFTP, Kubernetes, etc
- Understanding of industry direction and best practices.
