Location: Madrid (Hybrid)

A role you will love
Georgeson Spain is searching for an Account Manager to join the advisory team. As Account Manager you will ensure that all aspects of client relationships are carried out in an effective, efficient and cost-effective manner. You will ensure all client targets are met and that problems are solved in an efficient manner, whilst managing relationships with our clients to ensure the brand is built and recognised.

Key Responsibilities
• Planning and managing client accounts.
• Leading proxy solicitation campaigns (institutional & retail)
• Maintaining and developing existing client base through exceptional service.
• Attending and presenting at external client meetings and internal meetings.
• Communicating, liaising and negotiating internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of a profitable business and sustainable relationships.
• Ensuring methods used during a project are streamlined to ensure effective, efficient and cost-effective completion of a project.
• Ensuing a consultative and proactive approach to each client.
• In specific markets ensure that the proxy knowledge process is known fully.
• Ensuring that each third party is researched in country specific markets to obtain a full understanding of each market participant.
• Ensuring client reporting is accurate and systematic.
• Attending events (Corporate Governance, ESG (Environmental, Social & Govern).

What will you bring to the role?
• Previous experience in a client facing role
• Knowledge of our industry (Proxy Solicitation, M&A) - Desireable
• Understand the capital market environment
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and intuitive
• A keen attention to detail.
• Customer service approach to working with our clients.
• Degree in Economics-Busines Administration
• A professional level of English/Spanish, verbal/written communication.
• A good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
