As Vice President of Marketing, you will be a key member of our leadership team, developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that establish our distinct voice in the healthcare technology space. You'll build and lead a high performing marketing team which delivers demonstrable value. Marketing initiatives that you will own will amplify our brand, expand demand, engage our key constituencies, and articulate our unique place in the healthcare ecosystem.   • Develop and implement a compelling marketing strategy that establishes and enhances Collective Health’s unique identity and market position
  • Collaborate closely with product management to understand the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and translate these into compelling market-facing narratives and go-to-market plans.
  • Craft clear, concise, and differentiated value propositions, key messages, and target audience segmentation for each product and feature. Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product marketing activities, analyze results, and iterate on strategies to optimize performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team spanning product marketing, brand, growth marketing and demand generation, and PR/communications
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions to align with the company’s strategic goals
  • Leverage knowledge of market trends, customer insights, and competitive strategies to evolve the overall marketing strategy effectively.
  • Develop a strategy to grow company and leadership visibility at key strategic events and conferences. Drive market positioning and thought leadership content that establishes industry authority through white papers, case studies, and research reports
  • Identify and pursue partnerships, collaborations, or sponsorships that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Guide content and communications team members in creating compelling narratives and content that resonate with target audiences, including clients, prospects, partners, and members
  • Manage and optimize marketing budget, establishing clear performance goals and ROI metrics with monthly visibility into performance and spend impact
  • Drive the adoption of innovative marketing tools and technologies, including AI-powered marketing solutions
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure aligned go-to-market and demand generation strategies
  • Create and maintain competitive analysis frameworks to identify market opportunities and differentiation strategies
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies across Collective Health, partnering with Product to highlight new technology advancements.
  • Track record of successful ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams
  • Demonstrated success in product marketing, data-driven marketing and performance marketing strategies
  • Deep understanding of product marketing principles and best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages.
  • Experience managing dual-audience marketing strategies (B2B and B2C)
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable brand initiatives.
  • Excellence in brand building and strategic storytelling, (healthcare benefits space is a plus!)
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing communications initiatives
  • Background in founder-led organizations and fast-paced startup environments
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulatory and data privacy requirements
  • Proven experience in healthcare technology, particularly working with providers and/or health plans
  • Experience with marketing technology stack implementation and optimization

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid position based out of our San Francisco office. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week. #LI-hybrid 

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
