The Ireland Entity Operations Project Manager will support the Ireland CEO and the Leadership Team in growing the Ireland business. Coinbase Ireland is the foundation to European expansion, targeting 450M consumers and professionals in the adoption of the crypto ecosystem
The scope of role is cross functional - entity management, regulatory, and commercial / brand growth for internal tool & process development and external market development. The successful candidate will be task oriented, a quick study of our products and processes, highly productive and able to build strong interpersonal relationships. Your initial scope will be on driving projects in Ireland but is likely to expand across our other European entities.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Identify and track all deliverables for Ireland identifying clear task dependencies, criticality & ownership
- Enhance communication and reporting frameworks that inform both the team and senior stakeholders
- Develop an understanding of our product that result in informed assessment of risk &/or challenge of tasks / dependencies
- Stress-test information, data contained in materials and accuracy of reporting documentation
- Reporting to oversight functions including board members and key working groups
- Ensuring accountability with local/regional stakeholders including action item tracking, reporting and data gathering
- Partner with other European offices to understand where reuse is possible or/& partnership
- Establish strong working relationships with Product, Engineering, Business Operations and Design counterparts to support products growth in EMEA
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Proven track record in project management
- Passion to be outstanding in everything you do
- Good understanding of how the various functions of a regulated financial services business operate (e.g. Compliance, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Audit, Outsourcing)
- Process orientated
- Clear verbal and written communicator
- Ability to have impact and influence with senior, peer & junior colleagues both regionally and globally
- Proven judgment to assess risk impact & address or escalate accordingly
- Happy to roll up sleeves
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills
Nice to haves:
- Experience with retail-oriented payments, trading, or brokerage platforms
- Previous work experience or personal interest in crypto/blockchain space
