Position Summary:

The Lead Merchandiser works in local stores to keep Reyes Beverage Group products fully stocked on the shelves. This position maintains product availability and merchandises products at all designated accounts. The Lead Merchandiser supports the delivery and/or merchandising supervisors with teaching and coaching of the merchandising team during the week and on the supervisor's days off.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Assist with daily merchandising operations to include days off, PTO and vacations for the supervisor
  • Key resource to answer questions and solve problems for merchandisers and oversee their merchandising standards
  • Assist with the identification of training and coaching needs of merchandisers
  • Maintain product on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers
  • Identify replenishment needs and transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment i.e., pallet jack or hand truck and/or utilize hand tools
  • Replenish, face, and rotate product; build, change and take down product displays; maintain product signage; clean product space; secure damaged or defective product
  • Manage backroom by organizing and consolidating product backstock; identify, monitor, and report product backstock inventory levels; evaluate and process damaged or defective product; re-pack product; organize backroom materials i.e., pallets, product shells, etc.; operate powered equipment, i.e., straddle stacker, powered pallet jack, etc. and manual equipment i.e., pallet jack; complete store documentation; and clean backroom
  • Communicate status and concerns of designated accounts to customer and company management teams as needed and report unsafe working conditions
  • Complete company training and/or certifications
  • Follow company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, safety, utilizing a mobile device to complete work activities and operating a motor vehicle
  • Provide customer service to consumers and store team members by identifying and resolving concerns, answering questions, locating product and responding to requests for assistance
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
