Position Overview:

Our new Supply Chain Productivity Director - North Zone holds a vital role within LATAM Technical Innovation & Supply Chain organization by implementing and executing Supply Chain strategies to optimize and improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs, enhance overall supply chain productivity, and ensure timely product delivery.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Productivity projects pipeline: organize, schedule, plan, control, and monitor Supply Chain Productivity projects portfolio. Ensure projects are aligned with the company's strategic objectives, resources are allocated effectively, and timelines are met. Keep stakeholders informed about the progress and status of the projects in the pipeline by providing regular updates and performance metrics trends.
  • Productivity savings target: establish, monitor, and ensure the achievement of Supply Chain Productivity financial gains commitment against Business Plans & Long-Range Plans. Regularly track and evaluate savings progress; adjust as necessary to stay on track with Supply Chain Productivity targets.
  • Benchmark & best practices: evaluate and compare E2E Supply Chain operations against external or internal practices through performance indicators adoption and best practices sharing. Measure progress, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement. Create action plans to address performance gaps and move towards achieving the identified performance targets.
  • Strategic Supply Chain initiatives: oversee the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of the strategic Supply Chain initiatives in the Mexican market, establishing a clear vision by defining the overall objectives and outcomes for the project. Creating an overall project plan, including scope, deliverables, and timelines to guide the execution and aid in resource planning. Facilitating collaboration and maintaining open communication among team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, and addressing concerns.
  • Supply Chain program leadership: overseeing and managing the strategic direction and operational execution of intentional assigned Supply Chain program(s) across LATAM Operating Unit -such as productivity, portfolio optimization, resiliency, digital transformation, among others.
  • People leadership: although the role does not have direct reports, it requires to provide coaching and mentorship to junior Supply Chain associates, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers. Leveraging expertise and experience to influence and persuade others across the organization, even without formal authority.
  • Enterprise Risk Management: identify, assess, prioritize, and manage risks across E2E Supply Chain operations, with the aim of mitigate potential negative impacts on financials, performance, continuity, and reputation. Facilitate better decision-making, support strategic planning, and enhance an E2E Supply Chain resilience. Regularly communicate risk-related information, progress updates, and actionable insights to key stakeholders, including senior management, and employees, as needed. Lead and/or collaborate contingency plans and BCP aligned with Technical Operations and the bottling partners.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant and/or Supply Chain fields related such as engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or business administration. Master's Degree: although it is not required, a master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is good to have. MBA with focus in supply chain management can provide additional business acumen and a broader understanding of managerial decision-making.

Related Work Experience:

+10 years of experience in Supply Chain related functions with depth in Manufacturing and Productivity key processes -including risk management (preferably in the food & beverages industry).

+5 years of experience in Franchise Leadership and Operational Excellence related functions -focused on financial efficiencies and benchmarking.

+8 years of experience in Project Management of initiatives with agility and inclusion as the most critical components. Leading cross-functional projects, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed successfully.

+5 years of experience leading teams: although the role is an individual contributor, it requires support, coaching and guidance within the Supply Chain junior staff.

Fluent English and Spanish are required;
