Description

We're looking for a sharp and motivated Senior Finance Director to lead our finance team and partner with leadership on Cobalt's growth. This key role needs a strategic thinker comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strong financial planning, analysis, and reporting skills. The ideal candidate communicates well, interfaces effectively with C-level executives, and loves data-driven decisions. If you're results-focused and have a proven track record, apply!

What You'll Do

As Senior Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning and analysis, reporting, and compliance.  Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of six finance professionals (FTEs), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Effectively managing expectations and communication with the Executive team, providing timely and accurate financial insights and recommendations.
  • Playing a critical role in supporting the transition to new business metrics, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Leading the mid-year reforecasting process, incorporating updated business assumptions and providing insightful variance analysis.
  • Overseeing the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and a smooth and efficient audit completion.
  • Maintaining our financial systems, including NetSuite and our FP&A tool, Pigment.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
  • Implementing financial policies and procedures as needed.
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a cybersecurity environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Expertise in NetSuite and experience with FP&A tools, particularly those similar to Pigment (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
