Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Corporate Marketing position in Montreal, QC from May - Aug 2025.
Job Summary
The Intern, Corporate Marketing is responsible for assisting in Corporate Marketing initiatives. The incumbent acts as a key resource for the team by supporting the planning, and coordination for trade shows and CN customer events as well as assists in the follow-up and on compliance to pricing and Corporate Marketing standards and policies.
Major Responsibilities
- Follow up, track and report on non-compliance to policies
- Participate in the documentation of the fuel surcharge
- Support in the analysis of Optional Service tariff items
- Centralize documentation on the SharePoint site
- Coordinate and support all aspects of commercial, internal and customer events:
- Research, purchase, and ship promotional items to tradeshows and conferences as well as assist with handling inventory
- Interface with suppliers to order booths and banners for smaller commercial shows
- Build and test customer event websites, invitations, and email confirmations in event software
- Coordinate various details for events (i.e., guest lists, name tags, venue details, logistics)
- Research venues and guest logistics
- Assist with various internal and external awards ceremonies
- Support the Marketing Communications plan and tactics:
- Participate in content development for product campaigns on various marketing channels, including email, social media, web, and industry associations
- Help test interactive online brochures in English and French (Spanish would be an asset)
- Assist in developing content for sales and executive presentations
- Interface with commercial business units and cross-functional internal teams
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Excellent writing skills
- Collaborates with key stakeholders
- Deadline focused and results oriented
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Education
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
