Title: Financial & Pricing Analyst

Overview:
The Financial & Pricing Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting Cleo's financial operations. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Finance & Revenue Operations, this role is responsible for assisting in the development of pricing models, revenue forecasting, financial analysis, budget creation, and various strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth. The Financial & Pricing Analyst will be a key collaborator, working closely with sales, finance, analytics, and product teams to ensure accurate reporting and provide actionable insights that contribute to data-driven decision-making.

This position offers an opportunity to develop a strong financial analysis and strategy foundation within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the company's long-term success by supporting pricing and revenue initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Assist in preparing financial reports, including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Contracted Annual Recurring Revenue (CARR) reporting. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
    • Pricing Support:
    • Work closely with the Associate Director to develop and refine deal-level pricing models. Provide data-driven support for pricing initiatives by analyzing deal-specific variables, market trends, and competitive pricing strategies.
    • Revenue Forecasting:
    • Compiling data from sales pipelines and product teams supports the revenue forecasting process. Accurate financial projections and performance analysis inform decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Contract and Deal Desk Support:
    • Collaborate with the deal desk to track deal progress, assist in contract management, and ensure pricing and financial objectives are aligned with broader company goals.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with stakeholders across finance, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and support the seamless execution of pricing, reporting, and contract processes.
    • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis & Special Projects:
    • Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects, providing insights that drive operational efficiency and contribute to revenue growth initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or demonstrated capacity for statistical analysis and financial modeling through relevant work experience or coursework.
    • Strong understanding of financial analysis, including costs, recurring revenue streams, margins, and client performance metrics.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides and financial modeling.
    • Ability to analyze large datasets and present insights clearly and concisely.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills both in written and speaking
    • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic team.
    • Strong proficiency to hit prioritize work, hit deadlines, and work in a start-up, team environment

Pay Transparency: For New York and California, the base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000 annually. Outside of those states, the base salary range is $85,500 - $94,500 annually. In addition to a base salary, Cleo offers the following benefits: health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), 15 paid holidays, 5-day winter break, unlimited flexible vacation time, sick time, 16 weeks paid parental leave, 401(k) plan, disability insurance, life insurance, wellness perks, and more.
