Role Summary:

The Category Management Coordinator - Equipment is responsible for overseeing the repairs and upkeep of select food and beverage equipment. This role involves managing Service Channel, coordinating with vendors, handling billing, and maintaining asset records. The Category Management Coordinator - Equipment ensures that all equipment is operational with minimal downtime, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the operations team. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily review of open work orders to determine the next level of action.
  • Identify outstanding work orders and contact service providers for current status, next steps, and timing of completion.
  • Ensure work orders are resolved promptly to minimize downtime and keep revenue-generating equipment operational.
  • Provide regular updates to operations to build rapport and keep the team informed.
  • Regularly work with service providers to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Uncover current constraints and known parts on backorder to reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with vendors to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Complete ICEE's monthly billing, ensuring records match for quick payment.
  • Update the ICEE team on any billing adjustments to prevent overpayment.
  • Maintain current assets for selected food and beverage equipment trades.
  • Ensure records are updated promptly in Service Channel.
  • Notify the Fixed Assets team as new equipment is received.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in equipment coordination or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using service management software.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
