C.H. Robinson is seeking a Regional Project Logistics Manager. In this role you will be the subject matter expert, collaborating with the internal C.H. Robinson network to drive new business and retain existing business related to Project Logistics. You'll work closely with multiple internal teams, including sales, account management, global account centers, the office network, Regional Sales Directors, Customer Shared Services, and the executive team to generate leads and support the sales process for large or complex CAPEX opportunities. In this role, you'll lead or participate in strategic account discussions, contract and pricing strategy with the office network or directly with customers. Additionally, you'll provide operational support to the division when needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Identifies and qualifies business opportunities, partnering with the office network to close deals and drive growth in Project Logistics services
  • Markets Project Logistics to internal sales and account teams, creating demand and ensuring a robust pipeline of CAPEX opportunities
  • Designs and implements custom solutions for Project Logistics, collaborating with pricing teams to create competitive models and strategies
  • Builds strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers, providing consultation and responding to inquiries related to market trends and industry needs
  • Manages customer interactions, including RFPs, contracts, and deal strategy, while coordinating internal resources to ensure smooth processes and goal alignment
  • Provides ongoing support to improve customer experience, deal tracking, and project execution, acting as a key liaison and problem solver across various departments

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 10 years of project logistics experience

Preferred:

  • Freight forwarding experience (preferably project cargo and breakbulk)
  • Previous sales experience
  • Ability to travel (domestically and internationally)
  • Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong customer orientation and service delivery
  • Ability to adapt and learn systems/processes quickly
  • Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
