Overview

The Sr Business Analyst will work as part of the Business Process team and is responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing business processes in the Master Data Management (MDM) space across the network of Chick-fil-A internal distribution centers to ensure that they meet the needs of the business and operate effectively. This candidate is responsible for understanding business needs and working with business owners and the IT group to define technical requirements to support those needs. Over the next several years, this role is expected to grow designing, implementing, and evaluating business processes across multiple distribution centers distributing ~$3B/yr. worth of product to Restaurants. This candidate will have the opportunity to create and integrate enterprise-level processes and will support the drive for supply chain innovation unique to the food service industry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Chick-fil-A Supply Oracle master data management (MDM) subject matter expert for customer, vendor, and product domains
  • Work closely with a team of contingent resources in day-to-day operations in respect to routing incoming creation/maintenance requests and monitoring/validation/maintenance of master data
  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality
  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
  • Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
  • Design and implement master data enterprise level solutions in collaboration with product owners, reporting/data analysts, and business partners for the solution life cycle: capturing requirements, translating functional requirements into technical requirements, supporting design, developing process maps, supporting testing, and implementation of the solution
  • Work closely with Distribution Center, CFA corporate, Operators, and business partners to ensure optimal alignment
  • Possess intimate knowledge of who the customers are and the ability to put others above himself/herself
  • Demonstrate the ability to value both relationships and results
  • Ability to navigate through a confrontational situation, ensuring all parties are treated with honor, dignity, and respect


Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong experience with enterprise platforms such a s Oracle Master Data Management ERP customer, vendor, and product domaina
  • Intermediate knowledge Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems consumption of master data
  • Experience with business analysis and business process management
  • Deep understanding of data relationships to enable downstream performance
  • Working knowledge of innovations in supply chain and distribution center facilities
  • Familiar with start-up or new business development environments
  • Knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with food safety and general safety standards, quality specifications, local and governmental requirements
  • Exceptional problem solving and communication skills, detail oriented, creative, and has strong organizational skills
  • Able to anticipate needs, lead multiple projects, and manage shifting priorities


Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 plus years experience with Oracle Cloud, SAP, Microsoft Master Data Management customer, vendor and product domains
  • 4 plus years experience with Order Master Data Management integration, configuration and support
  • 4 plus years supply chain experience with focus on Master Data Management at the enterprise level
  • 2 plus years experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience driving integrations between SaaS based enterprise systems and third-party stakeholders
  • Experience with Master Data Management and Analytics across enterprise systems
  • Business Process Management experience
  • Experience developing SQL queries and business intelligence reporting
