Sr. SAP Technical Analyst (S4)

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Senior SAP Technical Analyst to come join our SAP S4 team. The Sr. Analyst should have the ability to gain the trust and respect of senior leadership; providing the team with a focused vision on how the organization's goals and directives will be accomplished within maintained project and employee capacity plans. Transactional system will include SAP ECC and S/4. Strong knowledge of PP, MFG (Plan to Deliver). Strong knowledge of MRP, logistical pegging, shortage reporting, and day in the life of planner, production order management. The candidate will be an integral team member for large- and small-scale SAP implementations and alignments in the Production Planning area as well as supporting existing solutions. The position will be responsible for delivering solutions from proof of concept to full project implementation in SAP ECC and S4 as it pertains to production planning.

The position manages a large team of experienced professionals and team leaders responsible for determining and fulfilling IT needs related to business and technical applications. Oversees systems planning, implementation, analysis, testing, develops and enforces policies / standards across the enterprise.

This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote.

What YOU will do:

  • Build relationships with the business, assist in helping to identify and resolve technical challenges preventing our customers from consistently delivering product on-time or ahead of schedule.
  • Contribute to the development of your own as well as your team's technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large / mid / small size projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise internal and external resources
  • Maintain technical knowledge both national and internationally as it pertains to the aerospace industry standards
  • Production Planning (MRP), Production execution
  • Managing master data - Material masters, BOM, Routing, Work centers, Production Versions etc.
  • Material replenishment for Production Area, Backflush, Kanban process, Engineering Change Management.
  • Experience in designing solutions for discrete manufacturing & repetitive manufacturing environments are critical.
  • Strong understanding of batch processing and the downstream impact of delayed MRP / Pegging and all other highly dependent scheduled job.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).
  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • 8 years of industry and or IT work experience specifically in SAP PP (Production Planning & Execution)
  • Transactional system will include SAP ECC and S/4. Strong knowledge of PP, MFG (Plan to Deliver). Strong knowledge of MRP, logistical pegging, shortage reporting, and day in the life of planner, production order management.
  • Knowledge of SAP PPDS, demand planning, inventory and replenishment strategies.
  • Knowledge of lean material replenishment strategies, forecasting and inventory optimization
  • Experience with Industry standard ERP system implementations (Full Life Cycle)
  • Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is a highly desirable

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
