Overview
The Chick-fil-A Tax Department is responsible for tax compliance, technology, special projects, research and audit defense functions for independently-owned franchised restaurants and corporate activities. We exist to provide tax planning, regulatory reporting and consulting to stakeholders, governments, external auditors and business leaders. As we grow in complexity and global footprint, we seek to influence business decisions, reduce tax liability and mitigate risk.
This role is essential to the international tax reporting function and requires collaboration with other functional teams as well as external consultants. This role is primarily focused on direct and indirect (e.g. Value-Added Tax) international tax compliance.

Responsibilities
- Prepare US International income tax reporting calculations and forms (e.g. Forms 8858, 8975, 8992, 8993), disclosures, elections, and supporting workpapers.
- Manage and track tax attributes of Chick-fil-A's international subsidiaries such as earnings & profits, tax pools, and foreign tax credit modeling
- Assist with indirect tax compliance and research for Chick-fil-A's international entities including the preparation of supporting workpapers, partnering with consultants, and advising cross-functional teams
- Assist on other international tax issues such as Pillar 2 compliance
- Reconcile and track tax payments and refunds and respond to notices from taxing jurisdictions and prepare audit defense documentation
- Consult on process improvement and technology/automation regarding invoicing, tax waivers, tax engine implementation, tax reports and accounting
Minimum Qualifications
- CPA
- 3+ years experience
