Our Opportunity: 

Chewy is looking for a Senior Program Manager – Homepage and Deals to join our team, based in Boston or Seattle. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape Chewy’s shopping experience and ensure that we deliver to our customer’s high expectations on the highest-traffic pages onsite. You’ll define Homepage and Deals content strategy; develop a test and learn agenda to maximize awareness and conversion of Chewy’s product and services; and build repeatable intake, go-to-market, and reporting processes that can be scaled to other parts of the team and the business. The role partners closely with and influences key stakeholders and senior leaders from category management, ops, marketing, creative services, and product/engineering teams to build best-in-class shopping experiences for new and existing Chewy customers. This individual must be highly motivated, results focused, organized, and detail oriented, and must possess solid objectivity, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The scope of this role will continue to grow, and we are looking for someone who has the personality, passion, tenacity, and drive to succeed!

What You’ll Do: 

  • Own site merchandising strategies for Homepage and Deals pages, including go-to-market launch plans for Chewy’s highest-visibility events and promotions 
  • Create and maintain mechanisms to intake and align key content priorities from 20+ teams across Chewy, surface key debates with relevant stakeholders, and keep cross-functional partners and leadership informed  
  • Introduce reporting and governance processes to ensure Homepage and Deals content maps to core customer and business strategies  
  • Use data to guide ongoing site experience improvements and content optimization and drive awareness and engagement with Chewy products, promotions, and sitewide events 
  • Own inputs into partner team roadmaps to develop required features and reporting that can scale to the rest of the site merchandising team 
  • Identify go-big opportunities and advocate for internal and external resources where needed to surprise & delight customers 

 

What You’ll Need: 

  • College degree in business-related field 
  • 7+ years work experience, with 2+ years in ecommerce 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain processes or programs across many cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization 
  • Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth needs 

 

Bonus (if applicable): 

  • Familiarity with SQL and advanced Excel capabilities 

Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for a Senior Site Merchandising Manager position is $110,500.00 - $176,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant. We offer different types of insurance, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com. Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year.
