Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager in Austin or Dallas,TX to join our Chewy Vet Care Marketing Team! This role will be directly responsible for local marketing across a regional set of Chewy Vet Care practices, inclusive of community events, outreach, and partnerships. As Chewy Vet Care continues to grow across the nation, we recognize how imperative it is for the Chewy Vet Care experience to show up consistently across each community. This position will build our connection within the community by bringing the Chewy Vet Care experience outside of the practice walls and into the heart of the community. This role will be responsible for building and implementing partnerships with local businesses such as apartment complexes, restaurants, and so much more.

The heart of this role is passionate about the growth of Chewy Vet Care through the activation, and engagement within various local communities, building and deepening relationships through field activations. We’re looking to use your collective marketing background to deploy field activities at scale!

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify key event opportunities for Chewy Vet Care in your designated community
  • Implement community marketing tactics to improve brand awareness in the target neighborhoods
  • Establish relationships with pet parents through engaging with them in an engaging way and educate them about Chewy Vet Care services
  • Research, develop, and cultivate partnerships with local businesses, schools, rescues, apartments and pet-friendly establishments, attending relevant events to cultivate relationships
  • Serve as the main point-of-contact for the Chewy Vet Care clinic team for execution of events in practice
  • Coordinate and participate in the events, delivering an event experience that’s aligned to our brand
  • Collect content of pets and pet parents to be used on social channels
  • Distribute swag and promotional materials to event attendees
  • Provide insights to the marketing team based on customer interactions and event experiences
  • Develop relationships with local businesses
  • Handle inventory for all swag and printed materials needed for local community events

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in community outreach, partner marketing, event planning, or retail marketing
  • Passion for pets
  • Basic photography skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Approachable personality with a willingness to engage with diverse audiences
  • Ability to travel within your territory up to 45-50% of the time.
