We are growing our Global marketing team and we are currently recruiting for a Senior Regional Marketing Manager for the Issuer Services business. The incumbent will develop and deliver on integrated marketing plans to achieve growth objectives, enable high-quality future and current client engagement programs, and strengthen the Computershare and Georgeson brand in our Asian markets, primarily Hong Kong and China.

Based in Hong Kong, reporting to the Marketing Director, APAC, this role will partner closely with the Issuer Services leadership, relationship management, business development, sales, product, global marketing, and other key stakeholders to help establish relationships with future clients and deepen relationships with current clients, client advisors and industry associations.

You will deliver communications, content, events and experiences through the broader APAC marketing team resources that increases awareness, builds reputation, generates demand, lifts client engagement, and enables business development. You will understand brand management strategies to support the roll out of new messaging for the Computershare brand, business unit and region. You will optimise marketing programs, tactics, and channels to best deliver on the plan and achieve growth and acquisition targets.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leverage industry, audience, and Computershare knowledge to clearly articulate our value proposition and capabilities through messaging, enablement materials, presentations, events, and digital assets
  • Orchestrate new service, solution, or product launch planning and execution with cross-functional teams
  • Lead the plan for and execution of key industry tradeshows and conferences to drive brand perception, engage with target audiences, and create business development opportunities
  • Create and edit key marketing communications, including proposals, presentations, and other client-facing content
  • Understand the competitive landscape, industry trends and client needs to lead the development and delivery of messaging, positioning, and content across the client lifecycle
  • Ensure productive relationships with marketing staff, supporting resources, and external agency relationships. Marketing staff can be: content, web/digital, event, creative, or other marketing specialties and may be shared resources
  • Manage an annual marketing budget and accurately track purchase requisitions, PO's, receipts, and expenses to ensure transparency and deliver regular reports to business, finance, and marketing leadership.
  • Analyse marketing performance data to assess effectiveness and impact and uncover critical marketing and business insights
  • Effectively manage multiple stakeholders and conduct regular plan and performance results reviews with key marketing insights
  • Supports the business successfully manage market structure changes
  • May deploy account-based and partnership marketing strategies based on business needs
  • Support the media relations team to enhance Computershare profile in the region via interviews, press releases, articles, and other media initiatives

What will you bring to the role?

Holder of a Bachelor degree (marketing, strategy or management), the Senior Regional Marketing Manager will have 8+ years of financial services or fintech marketing experience, preferably in equities, with an emphasis on client acquisition and retention. Additionally, the role holder will have proven B2B marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industries, coupled with the ability to deliver unique experiences, campaigns, thought leadership and events executed with measurable success. You will have experience in high-impact marketing campaigns, programs and enablement tools that drive future and current client engagement and deliver measurable results. Additionally, you will also have experience with account-based marketing (ABM).

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • You are an adaptable, dynamic and results driven individual contributor, capable of working independently managing multiple projects at once with a strong ability to prioritise. The role holder will have the ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and confidently lead through influence while navigating multiple stakeholders to meet business priorities and revenue goals.
  • You are a creative problem solver who can collaboratively define and drive campaign execution with a cross-functional team of stakeholders as well as "roll up your sleeves" as needed to deliver results.
  • You will manage changing scope and prioritise conversations with key stakeholders to ensure tight alignment. Also timely identification of key risks and issues with mitigation plans, escalating to leadership when appropriate.
  • You display excellent attention to detail, time management and critical thinking and have the ability to connect regional plans to global priorities and initiatives.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and writing skills with the ability to tailor tone and themes for diverse target audiences, as well as internal senior executives. You will have the ability to influence through relationships and thrive in environments with diverse views, interests, and priorities. They will also manage changing scope and priority conversations with key stakeholders to ensure tight alignment.
  • You are highly collaborative and are able to work across functional teams, matrix organizations and regions and empathetic to cultural and regional nuances and field resources.
