Associate Digital Marketing Manager

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for an Associate Digital Marketing Manager to join our team in Boston, MA. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams across Marketing, as well as our external partners at Meta and other platforms to ensure that we are meeting our e-commerce acquisition and customer development goals.

The role’s primary focus is the execution of large-scale social media buys through data-driven customer segments, advanced behavioral targets, and tailored creative. Joining a team of platform guides who are in ad platforms every day, the role’s responsibilities include implementing media buys through hands-on keyboard campaign set-up and ad trafficking, media planning, day-to-day campaign implementation, reporting, data analysis, monitoring bids/budgets/ad set performance, and optimizing against our target critical metrics. The ideal candidate is relentless, data-driven, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role sits within our high-performing, metrics-driven performance marketing team that works collaboratively on strategies to drive active customer growth. We are looking for someone equally passionate about marketing technology, data analysis, platform function, audience segmentation, and creative strategy.

What You'll Do:

  • Hands-on keyboard execution of campaigns based on provided targeting, budget, and creative while ensuring accurate ad formats, placements, and audience selection, across all business lines (Core, RX, Healthcare, Vendor Funding, Equine, and Ad Hoc).
  • Pacing campaign spending, making daily budget adjustments, and providing social strategy recommendations, test planning, and data reporting through custom dashboards and ad-hoc reports.
  • Constantly analyze, experiment, and iterate to improve performance and uncover new opportunities while keeping up to date with social trends.
  • Leverage platform automation to drive the full-funnel marketing performance of growing active customers
  • Implement structured tests around campaign incrementality, creatives, audiences, and bid strategies
  • Efficiently and successfully lead day-to-day problems and communicate effectively in difficult and time-sensitive situations. Understand when (and why) to raise issues

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in paid social marketing in an agency or e-commerce setting
  • Experience with social media networks, particularly Meta
  • Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Tableau
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A tenacious demeanor for learning and tackling new challenges, and a self-starting mentality with the ability to problem solve and seek out help when needed
  • Proven organizational skills, and ability to work independently with a backlog of projects and tasks that require the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail with a strong, positive, and proactive demeanor
  • Position may require travel
