Pay range: USD $149,781.00 - $164,800.00 / Year

Duties: Responsible for building Schwab's future trading platform and will design, build, and deploy software to support all of Schwab's trading. Job duties include delivery of high throughput, low latency solutions. Will develop services-based software using cloud platforms, such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and other equivalent technologies. Develop and
design applications using enterprise technologies such as C#, .NET, and .NET core. Participate in test driven development using Junit, EasyMock, etc. Manage and support database systems, using SQL Server, MongoDB, and Redis. The role will be part of one of the Sprint based Agile teams that is currently playing a dual role of supporting the existing Trading platform while building out to-be architecture.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $149,781.00 to $164,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and 36 months of related experience. Alternatively, Bachelor's degree and 60 months progressive, post-Bachelor's related experience.

Experience must include 36 months of experience in each of the following skills: Developing ultra-latency applications and REST APIs using C# and .NET Core; Developing applications using event driven architecture which produces and consumes events using messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBMMQ and Ultra; Developing applications that read and write information in Aerospike, SQL, and Mongo databases; Developing applications that are cloud agnostic, which can be deployed in any cloud provider such as GCP; Unit testing frameworks such as nUnit or xUnit to support the highly critical applications; and CI-CD tools such as Harness or GitHub Actions to deploy the applications in higher environments; and Development tools such as Bitbucket, Github, Jira, Confluence, or Swagger.
