As a Sr. Manager, Change Management, you will be responsible for leading change initiatives for critical HR and business projects. You will be focused on the people side of change, by working to reduce employee resistance to change, increasing the speed of sustained adoption of new behaviors so our people can do extraordinary work for our clients. You will deliver strategic consulting through best in class change management practices that are integrated with business plans in a systematic and rigorous way. You will enable firm-wide change capability through involvement in the Change@Schwab Community of practice as well as through participating in building out the firm-wide change management program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading change management efforts for cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Building change management strategies that help guide and support people through the change process, including impact analysis, readiness assessment, and sponsor roadmaps.
  • Driving the design, development, delivery and management of change communications and training.
  • Cultivating trusted advisor relationships with project team members, center of excellence partners, stakeholders, and key leaders to influence change efforts and drive business outcomes.
  • Identifying KPI and success measures, driving sustainable change.
  • Driving simplicity and scale to increase efficiencies and improve processes to help drive sustainable and transformative change.

What you have

To ensure we have fulfilled our promise of 'challenging the status quo,' this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a dedicated organizational change management role with a track record of success with a similar sized organization.
  • Educational background in Industrial Org Psychology, Organizational Development or Organizational Change, and MBA, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prosci Change Management Practitioner Certification or other relevant certification.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align change management strategies to business needs.
  • Proven success influencing leadership and enlisting employee support and engagement.
  • Strong visual storytelling abilities by creating client-ready PowerPoint presentations and other work products.
  • Skilled at taking a consultative and collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • A highly collaborative working style with the ability to establish trust and respect.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven relationship management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute on plans both short and long term.
  • Execution oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines, pivot with changes, and be effective and decisive under pressure
  • Successful history leading change management projects across a wide variety of types of changes at large scale.
  • Experience working within a matrixed Human Resources Organization aligned by Centers of Excellence.
  • Experience working in the Financial Services industry or other regulated environment.
