What you have
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
- 2 years of software development experience
- Pega CSA (Certified System Architect) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Pega hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing business applications using the Pega platform, including proficiency in core Pega concepts like case management, workflows, rules, security, and user interfaces, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements
- Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and processes
- Technical competency in an OOP language such as Java, C++, C#
- Technical competency testing web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular, ASP) with thorough knowledge of Page Object Model design patterns
- Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration tools (Selenium/Bamboo / Git)
- Experience deploying Pega products using Harness tool is required
- Experience with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) or Behavior Driven Testing (BDD/BDT)
- Test automation experience using Selenium WebDriver with Cucumber is required
- Experience with NoSQL, and / or SQL based databases and statement query tuning
- Experience testing applications on the PEGA platform like Pega unit tests creation and execution
- Team player with strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Development, support, and implementation of complex workflow systems using specialized PEGA knowledge and highly developed business expertise
- Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements
- Understand, advocate, and augment the platform principles, guidelines, and standards
- Analyze the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation, and innovation)
- Active participation in scrum ceremonies and be a good team player
- Experience working with RPA/RDA (Robotic Process Automation/ Robotic Desktop Automation) business solutions
- Collaborate with team and implement Pega solution based on the design provided by tech lead
- Participate in release activities, use dev ops to deploy products in lower environments and collaborate with release management teams to handover for production deployments
- Assist with the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations
- Provide development coding standards and guardrail metrics
- Ensure code quality with hands on experience with Pega Unit and implementing automated unit test plan on the Pega platform
- Align technical solutions with the platform and business strategy
- Documentation of application / system design and analysis work
- Experience with distributed multi-tier applications
- Experience with Federated identity and SSO standards (e.g., SAML, OAuth)
