Description and Requirements

The Senior PEGA Developer designs and develops programs/processes that automate specific business processes by working with various business units/departments to satisfy their requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research of production Incidents related to Pega orchestrations
  • Delivery of Pega run the business backlog items
  • Designs, develops, and maintains complex applications using Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practices
  • Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality
  • Participates in developing specifications such as user stories and designs
  • Solves or recommends solutions for complex issues and problems
  • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
  • Documents designs, issues, solutions, tips & tricks as needed
  • Provides after hours support as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution with equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Pega Software development
  • 3 years of hands-on SQL and reporting skills.
  • 3 years' experience in implementing integrations such as REST, SOAP, File Listener, MQ and Error Handling
  • Have Pega CSA (Certified System Architect) and Pega 8 experience.
  • Specialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertise
  • Experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in JavaScript, Node.js and React.js
  • DevOps Experience
  • Healthcare Experience

Hiring Range:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $106,300 - $153,595
  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $97,000 - $144,330

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
