DAFgiving360, MD & President

DAFgiving360™ is an independent nonprofit organization created to increase charitable giving in the U.S. We offer a donor-advised fund program and related philanthropic tools and guidance that empower donors to incorporate charitable planning into their everyday lives and make a bigger difference in the world. Since our founding in 1999 as an 501(c)(3) public charity, DAFgiving360 donors have recommended more than $35 billion in grants to more than 255,000 charities.

DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.

• Set strategic direction for the charity and its philanthropic goals, including annual financial planning and contribution and donation forecasts.
• Define and execute implementation plans required to achieve the objectives of the charity.
• In partnership with the DAFgiving360 Board Chair, lead the strategy and execution of the independent board governance.
• Develop risk programs to protect the charity and its donors.
• Responsibly execute on the agreements between Charles Schwab & Co and the Charity - including Administrative Services, Trademark and Investment agreements
• Champion philanthropic wealth management thought leadership in the industry and advocate for donor-advised fund structures.

• 15 + years of leadership experience preferably in wealth management encompassing strategy, product and client experience functions, with demonstrated senior-level executive experience.
• Experience managing a significant budget and hiring plan with material enterprise-wide business impact maximizing the investment.
• Outstanding communication skills from interpersonal to executive and public audiences, including to senior management, advisor, board levels as well as within the philanthropic community.
• Undergraduate degree is required.

• Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and senior level executive presence and ability to present to a Board of Directors.
• Experienced in effectively assessing, selecting and developing talent for the firm; adept at providing balanced, direct and actionable feedback to employees. Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing distinct teams with varied strengths.
• Thrives on initiating, building and cultivating strong authentic relationships inside and outside the group; highly collaborative; navigates and activates alignment across organizational silos.
