Fixed Income is a strategic priority for Schwab and Advisor Services - the Post Execution Specialist role provides an exciting opportunity to be a driver in continuing the growth, innovation and partnerships of this effort. With over $200 billion in Fixed Income assets, an industry leading product platform and a large team of sales & service professionals, the Fixed Income team plays a significant role in driving asset growth for both our Advisor and Retail channels. The Advisor Services Fixed Income team supports independent Registered Investment Advisor firms that custody and trade their client assets at Schwab. We partner with Fixed Income trading, Advisor Services Sales and the Advisor Custody & Trading organization to champion advisors' fixed income needs, growth and success.

Typical advisor interactions range from discussions about general bond information to supporting advisors after their trade execution. In addition, Post Execution Specialists will answer general account inquiries while maintaining an understanding of other income solutions offered by the company.
What you're good at
As a Post Execution Specialist you will be responsible for research and reconciliation of trades after they have been placed by advisors. Our specialists work with our advisors providing support for their fixed income needs with a focus on timely resolution of complex post trade issues. Our specialists are also expected to work closely with teammates, to ensure the best experience possible for all our clients.
What you have
- 3+ years of financial services experience; exposure to Fixed Income a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Series 7 & 63 required
- Series 9/10 preferred (can be obtained in a 120 day condition of employment)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills. Ability to establish rapport with advisors, business partners and peers
- Interest to learn all fixed income products and how they add value to client portfolios
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bloomberg or Factset experience preferred
