Customize, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize Salesforce applications by working in close interaction with the Architect, Leads, business analysts, and other members of the development team. This role requires a strong foundation in Salesforce coding and web development experience using Lightning.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll be responsible for building, integrating, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to keep pace with our ever-evolving business needs.
Custom Development: Build and enhance custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other platform tools.
Integration Expertise: Design and implement robust integrations between Salesforce and other critical AWS systems.
System Optimization: Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows using Salesforce.
Quality & Security: Ensure all developments meet industry standards for security, compliance, and performance.
Troubleshooting & Support: Quickly diagnose and resolve issues in a highly integrated environment.
Skills & Experience:
Salesforce Skills: Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including best practices in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and data management as well as configurable no or low-code Salesforce solutions.
Salesforce Tool Knowledge: Experience with third-party Salesforce applications and related tools such as VS Code, Conga Composer, Conga Grid, Dataloader, Postman/Bruno, Github Copilot, etc.
Integration Proficiency: Hands-on experience with integrating Salesforce to external systems (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions).
Complex Environment Navigation: Proven track record working within complex, highly integrated systems, preferably in the financial services sector.
Analytical Thinker: Ability to critically evaluate existing processes and suggest improvements without accepting status quo assumptions.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and document solutions for future reference.
Automated Testing: Familiarity with automation testing implementation and tools such as JEST, Selenium, Cucumber.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
10+ years of experience in Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration Tools.
5+ years experience with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript).
5+ years experience with OO analysis and design experience
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience using tools like JIRA, Rally, DOORS, SVN.
Familiarity with Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company.
Experience working in a matrix organization.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in financial services environments, where compliance and data security are paramount.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Education:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II); additional certifications are a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000.0 - $165,300.00
