Job Details

Principaux devoirs et responsabilités:

  • Assurer la conformité à toutes les procédures et normes de l'entreprise.
  • Assurer la conformité à toutes les exigences GxP.
  • Examen régulier des notes d'incident, des IRC et d'autres indicateurs de rendement.
  • Respecter les normes des organismes de réglementation (PIP, Transports Canada, règlements de la TSA, etc.).
  • Mise en oeuvre et formation sur les SOP (globales et locales).
  • Gérer les exigences de la chaîne du froid.
  • S'assurer que l'équipement de réfrigération et de contrôle de la température fonctionne correctement.
  • Dépannage et gestion des problèmes, y compris la contribution aux rapports CAPA.
  • Améliorer les systèmes d'exploitation, les processus et les politiques à l'appui d'une meilleure communication de l'information.
  • Créer des procédures pour les situations qui nécessitent des procédures écrites.
  • Travailler à l'échelle nationale et mondiale avec les gestionnaires sur des questions qui touchent son service.
  • Déléguer toutes les expéditions au service à la clientèle/personnel d'exploitation.
  • Gérer les ressources utilisées par son département, y compris l'externalisation des activités.
  • Surveiller les écrans WorldSTAR pour s'assurer que toutes les échéances sont respectées.
  • Assurer le suivi de tous les travaux en cours afin d'assurer le rendement du service en temps opportun.
  • Aider les autres services avec des questions générales sur l'exploitation et l'emballage.
  • Soutenir les ventes en fournissant une expertise technique et en participant aux appels de vente/présentations.
  • Comprendre/mettre en oeuvre de nouvelles technologies pour augmenter la productivité et la performance.
  • Formation des nouveaux employés.
  • Effectuer des embauches sélectives et travailler pour retenir un personnel exceptionnel.
  • Maintenir une relation de travail favorable avec tous les employés de l'entreprise afin de favoriser et de promouvoir un climat de travail coopératif et harmonieux.
  • Maximiser le moral des employés, la productivité, l'efficacité et la rétention.
  • Effectuer des évaluations de rendement et des examens annuels.
  • Examiner et gérer la paie hebdomadaire et bihebdomadaire des employés et des propriétaires-exploitants.Faisant preuve de souplesse dans l'horaire de travail, World Courier est une entreprise qui fonctionne 24 heures sur 24 et exigera donc des heures supplémentaires ainsi que le travail les jours fériés et les quarts de fin de semaine au besoin.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring conformance to all company procedures and standards.
  • Ensuring conformance to all GxP requirements.
  • Regular review of incident notes, KPI and other performance indicators.
  • Complying with regulatory agencies standards (PIP, Transport Canada, TSA regulations, etc).
  • Implementing and training on SOP's (global and local)
  • Managing cold chain requirements
  • Ensuring that refrigeration / temperature control equipment is working correctly.
  • Troubleshooting and problem management including contributing to CAPA reports.
  • Improving operational systems, processes and policies in support of better reporting.
  • Creating procedures for situations which require written procedures.
  • Working nationally and globally with managers on issues that involve his/her department
  • Delegating all shipments to customer service / operations staff.
  • Managing resources used by his/her department including outsourcing of activities.
  • Monitoring WorldSTAR screens to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Follow up on all work in progress to ensure timely performance by the department.
  • Assisting other departments with general questions about the operation & packaging.
  • Supporting sales by providing technical expertise and participating in sales calls/presentations.
  • Understanding / implementing new technology to increase productivity and performance.
  • Training new employees.
  • Conducting selective hiring and working to retain an exceptional staff.
  • Maintaining a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
  • Maximizing employee morale, productivity, efficiency and retention.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and yearly reviews
  • Reviewing and managing weekly and bi-weekly employee and owner operator payroll.
  • Demonstrating flexibility in work schedule, WC is a 24 hour company will require overtime, holiday scheduling, and weekend shifts as necessary
