About The Role:

As a CBRE Underwriting Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Underwriting management team in evaluating complex healthcare and/or multifamily loan requests.

This job is part of the Loan Operations function. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the loan process for financial institutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Review, amend, and prepare narratives and packages on new loan requests.
  • Check and prepare field underwriting submissions for the loan committee and final delivery of investor packages.
  • Evaluate underwriting due diligence information and integrate real estate information from market research reports and other third-party sources.
  • Investigate and submit post-closing underwriting delivery packages.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience in the evaluation of commercial real estate properties including property inspections, reviewing financial statements, and underwriting loan transactions. Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Underwriting Analyst position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Underwriting Analyst position is $100,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
