About The Role:
As a CBRE Underwriting Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Underwriting management team in evaluating multifamily loan requests.
This job is part of the Loan Operations function. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the loan process for financial institutions.
What You'll Do:
- Process incoming exhibits, narratives, and packages on new loan requests.
- Assist with the review of field underwriting submissions in preparation for the loan committee and final delivery of investor packages.
- Gather underwriting due diligence information and integrate real estate information from market research reports and other third-party sources.
- Perform property and market-level due diligence.
- Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the quality of own work.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, asks questions, and check for understanding.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Underwriting Analyst position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Underwriting Analyst position is $75,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
