About The Role:

We are looking for a Lead Treasury Associate for CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions, an exciting and growing environment. This role supports treasury activities, ensuring financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet corporate needs and objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Direct and coach a team responsible for day-to-day operations related to cash management.
  • Supervise operations and outcomes to ensure compliance with procedures and the security of client banking information.
  • Review banking systems and processes to ensure they are in compliance with acceptable accounting practices and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans as they relate to banking needs.
  • Coach Client Accounting Services staff on cash management and banking requirements.
  • Review and approve wire transfers. Resolve discrepancies associated with transfers to facilitate release of funds.
  • Review and resolve fraud prevention exception files.
  • Plan and monitor staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
  • Prepare and deliver performance appraisals.
  • Mentor team members to further develop competencies.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6+ years of experience in banking or related field with automated systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certified Treasury Professional credential preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
  • Knowledge of cash management principals, bank products, and bank services preferred.
  • Familiarity with and ability to navigate within bank online systems (SunGard/Integrity, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, PeopleSoft are a big plus).
  • Knowledge of Treasury Workstation program preferred.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $70,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $81,100 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
