About the Role:

As a CBRE Audit Sr. Analyst, you'll be responsible for performing high-quality SOX testing for their assigned areas, as well as value-add project tasks. You will also identify and evaluate risks to the company and consulting with management to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies, all performed in accordance with professional standards.

  • Conduct complex audits using agile methods to meet the needs of our global businesses and service lines.
  • Assist in day-to-day execution of the SOX program; this includes SOX walkthroughs, controls testing, deficiency evaluation and remediation tracking.
  • Execute ITGC and SDLC control testing, identify and test Key Reports and ITACs, and enhance control testing practices.
  • Perform conversion control testing, identify appropriate IPE and ITACs to address risks, and enhance control testing practices.
  • Develop draft of audit steps and audit programs that adequately address risk in special projects.
  • Complete assigned workpapers on-time and documents at a sufficient level of detail to support conclusions.
  • Direct walk-throughs to build understanding of systems, controls, and related processes.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. CPA, CA, CISA, or CIA certification preferred.
  • SOX or external/ internal IT audit experience with knowledge of ITGC, ITAC, and Key Report audit procedures.
  • 3-5 years of recent Big 4 accounting firm experience required.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
