About the role

As a CBRE Quality and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team that supports quality assurance and quality control results for clients.

This job is part of the Contract Quality Management job function. They are responsible for managing the delivery of contractual services to ensure requirements are fulfilled.

What you'll do

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Coordinate the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Implement both company and client compliance programs and participate in continuous improvement objectives.
  • Communicate initiatives and issues across the functional areas. Report compliance status to business partners regularly.
  • Track the success of the quality-of-service initiatives for non-regulated services.
  • Report Compliance and other metrics to the client during review meetings. Advise all interested parties of quality and compliance issues.
  • Implement the inspection readiness programs. Assist with audits, as well as serve as a resource for quality operations.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply expert knowledge of company programs and integrate processes to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in a science related field required, such as, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering. Or a Bachelor's Degree in a science related field such as, Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology, with specializations in mechanical, industrial, or civil engineering.
  • Master's Degree in a science related field is desired, such as, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering. Or a Master's Degree in a science related field such as, Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology, with specializations in mechanical, industrial, or civil engineering.
  • Previous experience is required (5-7yrs) within a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or heavy industries such as oil & gas, automotive, or aircraft manufacturing.
  • Desired experience of (4-6yrs) in pharmaceutical manufacturing with emphasis on facilities, utilities, and equipment qualifications, reliability, and preventative & corrective maintenance.
  • Certifications desired in Green or Black Belt Six Sigma Certification Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
  • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality assurance principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry legislation, building code regulations, and guidelines.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
