CO Salary Range: USD 115,000.00 - 150,000.00 per year

ROLE SUMMARY

Join our Data Center Solutions (DCS) team as a Transition Program Manager! You'll be responsible for leading new customer transitions into our data center team, ensuring seamless project execution, and providing ongoing direction and guidance.

In this critical role, you'll facilitate planning sessions and meetings with clients to set goals and ensure successful transitions. Excellent communication skills are essential to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, account teams, and extended project teams.

As a leader in this role, you'll recognize opportunities to improve processes and procedures, applying lessons learned throughout the transition process. This requires a proactive approach to identify areas for growth and development, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.

You'll be responsible for managing and controlling the transition budget, forecasting any deviations, and providing required reporting. Strong financial knowledge and attention to detail are essential to ensure successful project outcomes.

In this autonomous role, you'll have the authority to lead matrix project teams made up of account Alliance Directors, Business Unit Directors, and SMEs from various functions. Your expertise will drive improvements across the organization, partnering with stakeholder groups.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Facilities Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 6 years Project Management experience
  • Certification(s) in PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), Lean or Six Sigma, Kaizen
  • Professional background in systems implementations, mergers/acquisitions, re-engineering or other large/complex projects
  • Deep operational knowledge in complex organizations
  • Experience with Data Centers

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent with MSFT Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio), SharePoint, and Smartsheets
  • Strong time management and attention to detail skills
  • Strong process and organizational skills

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

  • Proven ability to plan and host client-facing transition kickoff events, effectively communicating project goals and objectives.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise reports and bulletins.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and lead cross-functional teams.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong understanding of budget management and financial planning, including the ability to track expenses and forecast future developments.
  • Ability to expertly manage transition budgets, ensuring that all scope is accounted for and that projects are delivered within established parameters.

AUTONOMY/IMPACT:

  • Proven expertise in developing custom components and leading the development of new components into standard plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to predict possible risks and develop mitigation plans with stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead teams through solutions and enable successful outcomes, driving improvements across the organization.

*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Program Senior Manager is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Program Senior Manager position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
