About the role

Responsible for performing duties of an analytical and problem resolution nature to ensure that all related insurance, property taxes, and UCCs (Uniform Commercial Code) are in place to protect the applicable commercial real estate loan collateral.

What you'll do

  • Monitoring and compliance for insurance for commercial real estate loans.
  • Monitoring and compliance for property tax for commercial real estate loans.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely filing and continuations of all UCCs.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly quality reports and standards, including quality control audits.
  • Complete UCC related search.
  • Perform quality control function for Gen pact and third party vendors.
  • General administrative tasks including building management, vendor management, office supply inventory, mail/fed ex, general correspondence, maintenance and updating of employee listings in various systems, equipment maintenance contracts, etc.
  • Manage UCC expirations.

What you'll need

  • High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Commercial Loan Servicing is required. Solid understanding of Commercial Loan documents, insurance, property taxes, and/or UCCs preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to successfully present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
  • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.). Must have the ability to build excel spreadsheets or other reports. Experience with McCracken preferred.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
