About The Role:

As an Insurance Analyst, you will perform various tasks within the insurance team. Manage insurance compliance reviews for Agency, institutional, private client and high-profile borrowers as required. Manage flood determination process, force placed insurance and insurance claims as required.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct analysis of Commercial Insurance to ensure compliance with Lender requirements.
  • Communicate and provide support in assessing risk between Lender and Borrower needs.
  • Review Loan Closing Documents for insurance compliance at loan level.
  • Collaborate with Insurer and Borrower to address deficiencies or missing coverage.
  • Work with Loan Servicing team to resolve insurance related issues.
  • Obtain insurance renewal documents and invoices from relevant parties.
  • Utilize CBRE proprietary client systems to review insurance data and run reports.
  • Assist in gathering insurance documentation for audits.
  • Uphold CBRE RISE values and demonstrate excellence in work quality.
  • Adhere to standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate effective information exchange and mutual understanding within the team.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Clear knowledge of Commercial Insurance Coverage for Property, (including Flood, Wind, Earthquake and Terrorism), General Liability (including Workers Comp and Auto), Professional Liability and Umbrella/Excess Liability Insurance.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
