About The Role:

As a CBRE Business Operations Coordinator, you will assist with the timely processing of front-end tasks in support of our valuation and consulting professionals with a high level of accuracy. In this role, a team of on and offshore staff coordinate and perform job setup and management of in-progress assignments.

What You'll Do:

  • Process emails requesting job setup in shared mailbox, including but not limited to standard appraisals, consulting and/or litigation work, ROW, Tax prep, ACS, recurring assignments and more.
  • Reference various resource documents ensuring job setup accuracy incorporating team member and fee allocations, assignment requirements, details, and job file creation.
  • Verify and validate appropriate signature levels in contractual agreements.
  • Generate retainer invoices.
  • Manage and adjust assignment scope changes.
  • Coordinate with other core groups in efforts to progress assignment setup when stalled.
  • Follow a standard mailbox structure and core SOP above company guidelines.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
  • Prior experience as an Operations Coordinator or similar role preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
  • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to address problems and demonstrate basic analytical skills.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (10 or above) products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Familiarity working with Smartsheet and Adobe software.
  • Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
