About the role

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Associate, you will provide reporting support through research, data collection, and management of information for the organization.

This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving efficiency and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for data collection, input, aggregation, and data auditing.
  • Support accurate key metric reporting and data review performed by the organization.
  • Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
  • Assists in generating basic reports.
  • Build ad-hoc presentations and assess development for review. Respond to information requests in a timely manner.
  • Capture and analyze data to identify and tackle sophisticated problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.
  • Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
  • Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
  • This position requires field survey work to verify equipment condition and asset tag identification accuracy. Locations of visits would be in mechanical rooms, roofs and utility rooms.

What you'll need

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or sophisticated content in a concise and logical way.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Sophisticated interpersonal skills with an inquisitive attitude.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
