Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior External Manufacturing Coordinator will focus on strategic external manufacturing projects to support short- and long-term strategies and goals of the Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate business. In this role you will lead new external manufacturing suppliers, while also creating best practices and metrics for the full external manufacturing and co-packing supplier network. You will coordinate with cross functional team partners to ensure high quality on time production at external manufacturers.

Key Accountabilities
- Use knowledge of external manufacturing practices and procedures to navigate through scheduling, ingredient and material requirements, and supplier management.
- Execute and implement complex projects and process improvements to drive continuous improvement across the external partner network including new product trials.
- Develop key metrics and best practices to drive accountability and high performance across the vendor network.
- Develop partnerships with colleagues that empower and influence accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Manage project schedules, to ensure Cargill ingredients and required materials are fulfilled on time and on site for production.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

This position is open to work from a remote, home office location anywhere in the United States or the Wayzata, MN Headquarters
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Experience
- New product trial experience
- Experience in food or beverage manufacturing or logistics
Compensation Data
The expected salary for this position is $95,000-110,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
