Sr. Agency Asset Management Analyst
The Asset Management Senior Analyst plays a key role in providing analytical support to a team of Asset Managers as they monitor the performance of a multifamily real estate loan portfolio, which includes providing excellent customer service to clients. This position will be a member of the Agency Finance Asset Management team, primarily focused on Freddie Mac loans and report into a Senior Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Performs property operating statement analysis
- Assists Asset Managers in obtaining and reviewing documentation to satisfy loan covenants, including guarantor financial analysis
- Responsible for monitoring repair due dates per the loan documents and resolving all repairs including customer communication, preparing complete supportable consent requests as needed, and collecting, and reviewing required documentation to support satisfaction
- Responsible for reviewing deferred maintenance completion documentation and updating results in tracking system
- Performs detailed loan set-up for new loans including identifying special loan items and recording basic loan information into tracking system
- Assists Asset Managers in obtaining and reviewing documentation to satisfy loan covenants, including guarantor financial analysis
- Provides analytical support to a team of Asset Managers
- Manages all Freddie mailboxes ensuring timely response to Master Servicers and Freddie Mac
- Oversees 3rd party vendor on the execution of the annual loan compliance processes and other processes to ensure timely and thorough execution
- Assists Team Leader in compiling information for investor audits, as needed
- Handles special projects as assigned by Team Leader

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial real estate or financial services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and mine data
- Proficiency in analyzing property operating statements, rent rolls, and borrower financial statements and in modeling complex financial scenarios
- Strong written and oral communication skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst
Plano, TX: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
