Capital One, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 best companies to work for" is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Associate to fill a position in the Retail Bank Integrated Planning team. This role will support our Program Management sub-team and you will be coordinating the development and execution of a portfolio of Marketing campaigns, by creating project plans, managing dynamic timelines and facilitating the on-time delivery across broad cross-functional teams.

General Responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution of "Well-Managed" marketing campaigns using Project Management tools and processes to: develop project structure, milestones and timelines, establish task dependencies, gain an understanding of resource constraints and develop potential tradeoff scenarios, assess capacity needs across a cross-functional team, ensure mandatory data logging within the PM tools, escalate plan deviations and seek resolution etc.
  • Operating effectively in an agile environment and effectively manage changing priorities, timelines and resources
  • Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements using project management software
  • Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered "on time"
  • Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
  • Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
  • Driving consensus across cross-functional teams through creation of appropriate routines, templates and socialization plans
  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Keep pulse on the financial industry & marketing innovations to ensure we stay relevant and at the forefront of marketing operations and process management
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual marketing planning

This Associate Should Bring:

  • The ideal candidate has 2+ years of solid Project Management experience in the Marketing campaign planning/ execution and MarTech domains. The Associate should be highly collaborative and able to drive direction and manage progress with multiple stakeholders including Leadership, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Media, Product, Creative, National Advertising, Retail Marketing, and Corporate Communications.
  • Has a passion for coordinating complex Marketing campaigns, projects and programs by establishing tasks, milestones, timelines, dependencies, delivery tradeoffs and capacity needs across a cross-functional team
  • Confident presenting project plans, scenario analyses, trade-offs, risks and their mitigation steps to stakeholders
  • Excited by the challenge of influencing & collaborating with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Is passionate about troubleshooting project roadblocks and delivering quality outcomes on time and budget
  • Naturally curious about our product marketing strategies, impact to customer experience and
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Thrives on collaboration, the opportunity to build in white space areas and the drive for results

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 2 Years of Project Management or Marketing experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification with some expertise in commonly used PM tools such as Jira, Workfront etc.
  • Understanding of Marketing technology, and campaign execution processes/ workflows
  • 1+ years of experience in Banking/ Fintech or related verticals
