Senior Associate, Enterprise Talent and Performance Management Communications
Capital One is looking for an energetic and strategic communicator to join our enterprise Talent and Performance management team. You'll be part of a team responsible for developing associate-facing communications to keep associates and stakeholders informed of talent and performance management intent and processes. You'll develop emails, talking points/FAQs, Slack messages, GSuite documents and content delivered via instructor led training.
A successful candidate will have proven experience with and knowledge of communications principles, both verbal and written. The candidate should also possess strong influencing and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Write talent and performance management communications for a variety of audiences
- Contribute to the creation of talent and performance management content which is used in a variety of media including GSuite documents, Pulse, and instructor led training
- Advise, as needed, on communication strategy, i.e. what types of communications would work best in different situations, and execute accordingly
- Execute the TM/PM team's communication strategy in a well-managed way
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects, as needed
- Work with partners to gather and implement feedback in all communications (Legal, Associate Relations, etc.)
- Build competencies as a Communicator and serve as a champion for clear, consistent messaging
- Partner cross-functionally on key projects and initiatives with the ability to manage input from a variety of stakeholders and drive results
- Contribute to internal reporting and metrics tracking
- Partner with teammates to keep the TM/PM Pulse site and documentation updated and engaging for associates

- Detail oriented: Has an eagle-eye for formatting and copy editing
- Deadline driven: Ability to adhere to and set deadlines, and deliver quality work within them
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a communications specialist or journalist
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, English or journalism
- At least 3 years of experience as a communications specialist
