We are seeking a highly motivated accountant to join the Financial Services Accounting team within the Controllers Group as a Principal Associate with a focus on well managed execution of our BAU processes. You will be a self-starter responsible for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast paced, time sensitive environment. The Financial Services Accounting team within the Controllers Group supports monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities with a focus on journal entry preparation, analytics, reporting and reconciliations with countless opportunities for knowledge growth.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare and/or review recurring and ad hoc journal entries timely and accurately
  • Prepare and/or review balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned area of responsibility
  • Create and socialize recurring and ad hoc reporting and analytics, delivering messaging to leadership during monthly close meetings
  • Fulfill SEC and Regulatory reporting requests
  • Implement and comply with accounting policies and processes for assigned area of responsibility
  • Provide support for CORE, audit and compliance groups as needed
  • Drive process improvement in assigned area of responsibility
  • Collaborate with several teams across the organization to craft and ground meaningful stories to explain financial results
  • Operate as a work lead, providing leadership and tactical support for deliverables assigned to other associates on the team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 Years of experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance
  • At least 2 years of experience in supervising a team of individuals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • At least 5 years of experience in supervising a team of individuals
  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounting
