The Human Resources Line of Business, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Process Manager to join our HR Data Management & Governance Team.

The HR Data Management & Governance Team is primarily responsible for ensuring that all Workforce data, including international data, stay Well-Managed and comply with the various Data Policies, Standards, and Procedures that Capital One has in place by partnering with key stakeholders, such as HR Risk, other HR Experience Teams as well as People, Products & Technology.
About the role:
You will play a pivotal role in Global Expansion efforts to ensure the appropriate monitoring is in place to mitigate any data management risk associated with International Workforce data. In addition you will also play a key role in Global Expansion efforts and special Data Privacy projects to deliver Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), which will ensure Capital One mitigates risks in the HR International data space.
Some qualities which will contribute to success in this role include, but are not limited to: strong verbal and written communication skills; strong process documentation skills; customer focus as you work closely with our Performing Data Stewards, Accountable Execs and ability to coordinate large efforts across cross-functional Teams, when needed. General Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge and experience in Data Management and Information Data Management preferred
- Ability to work autonomously as well as work in the white space when needed
- Keeping continuous improvement at the forefront of the repeatable processes with which you will engage with HR teams in different countries
- Partner with HR Risk Office to centralize oversight and achieve well-managed international workforce data
- Ability to create strategy/action items as well as Road Map to track progress
- Play a role in Global Expansion efforts to ensure HR is compliant with laws and regulations in other countries.
- Strengthen our documentation and controls around the Annual Purge and Deletion request processes across the HR Division while also partnering with international HR Teams.
- Partner with Performing Data Stewards, External Data Share platform, Coupa, and Supply Chain (ESM) to ensure appropriate retention/destruction requirements are captured for international workforce data.
- Partner with EDRM & Risk to define/complete any outstanding MRA or Finding/Problem remediations
- Respond to 2nd-line's Data Effective Challenges, where applicable to Data Governance
- Create updated procedures/ Job Aids to help our PDS community navigate through the tasks of managing international data
- Partner with EDRM & Risk as well as various 1st and 2nd-line Oversight Teams to support joint-initiatives and projects
- Craft presentations for Leadership, when needed to display monthly data management metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office or G-Suite
- At least 2 years of experience in Data Governance or Risk Management
- At least 3 years of Process Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification
- Familiarity w/ Agile Methodology and Jira
- 4+ years of experience in Data Governance
- 4+ years of experience in Process Management
