Manager, Chief of Staff

As a Manager of Workforce Planning and Operations on Capital One's Mexico Chief of Staff team, you will support implementation of Capital One Mexico workforce strategies by analyzing trends and forecasting talent needs, to ensure the right talent is in the right place at the right time to support our goals and strategic objectives

You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the business. You will demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands. You get technology, analytics, and use data to help illuminate the truth, prioritize teamwork, seek opinions of others and create a collaborative and fun environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work independently to interpret and develop solutions to complex business challenges that have a significant impact on the function or branch
  • Collaborate at all levels within and across business unit and Talent Acquisition teams to evaluate a range of workforce information that inform future supply projections for people and skills
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce strategies, adapting plans as needed to ensure alignment with changing business needs
  • Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Address operational issues and challenges, finding solutions and implementing changes to prevent future problems.
  • Work with other teams to achieve organizational goals, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

The person will:

  • Clearly explain complex data findings to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement analytical frameworks to monitor and optimize the concrete impact our initiatives are having on our objectives.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities to optimize processes and enhance performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of process management/workforce planning experience
  • 4+ years in communicating and collaborating with multiple partner groups
  • 3+ years of experience working on high level projects partnering with Senior Management
  • At least 4 years working with spreadsheet applications like Google Sheets (part of G Suite) for data cleaning, analysis and visualization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience involving organizational design, staffing and/or budgets
