Job Description

Role Overview:
The SharePoint Online Developer will be responsible for the design, development, governance, and administration of SharePoint solutions. This includes working extensively with Microsoft 365 products such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, and Azure AD, as well as PowerShell scripting to develop automated integrations. The role requires in-depth expertise in SharePoint Online, along with strong experience in the Power Platform suite and Microsoft Teams.

As part of a hybrid work environment, the developer will collaborate closely with both on-site and remote teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure smooth integrations with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SharePoint Online Development: Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and effective governance.
  • Power Platform Integration: Utilize PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power BI to build robust workflows, apps, and bots, and automate processes.
  • Automation & Scripting: Develop PowerShell scripts for automating processes and integrating Microsoft 365 and Azure services (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Microsoft Tool Integration: Create and manage solutions that integrate with Microsoft Teams, O365 Groups, OneDrive, and Planner.
  • Azure AD & Licensing: Provide support for Azure Active Directory (AD) and offer recommendations on PowerApps licensing.
  • Power Platform Bots: Develop bots within Microsoft Teams using the Power Platform suite, ensuring seamless communication between apps and services.
  • Governance & Administration: Ensure governance best practices for SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions, while administering user permissions, site architecture, and workflows.
  • Collaboration Tools: Support the decommissioning of legacy systems like BOX using migration tools such as Sharegate.

Mandatory Skills:

  • SharePoint Online: Strong expertise in SharePoint Online development and governance.
  • Power Platform: Solid experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Microsoft 365 Integration: Experience integrating Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, OneDrive, O365 Groups, and Planner.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Hands-on experience with PowerShell for automation and scripting.
  • Azure AD: Familiarity with Active Directory, particularly Azure AD.
  • Licensing: Knowledge of PowerApps licensing recommendations.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Sharegate for migration projects.
  • Knowledge of BOX decommissioning processes.
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience with Power Automate, PowerApps, and SharePoint Services.
  • 7-10 years of experience as a Software Developer, with hands-on experience in SharePoint Online development.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure AD and Microsoft Teams integration.
  • Understanding of Dataverse and its role in Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience creating bots within Microsoft Teams using Power Platform components.
