Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with expertise in insurance domain to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Possess in-depth functional knowledge of the Insurance (INS) domain, working in an Agile delivery model.
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans and strategies and present them to customers, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Lead a team of system engineers, coordinating and preparing testing plans for Functional, End-to-End (E2E), and Regression testing phases.
  • Hands-on experience in automation testing using frameworks such as BDD, Karate, or Hybrid with Java and Selenium. Drive automation strategies and execution plans.
  • Collaborate with the business team to prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and ensure seamless coordination.
  • Participate in Release Go/No-Go meetings to provide QA status updates and recommendations.
  • Drive daily and weekly cadence calls with customers and internal teams, maintaining transparency and alignment on QA progress.
  • Effectively work within the offshore-onshore delivery model to manage testing activities across geographies.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Lead customer calls such as scrum ceremonies and triage meetings, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Exhibit an open mindset to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, and automation.
  • Strong expertise in the Insurance domain and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience with automation frameworks such as BDD, Karate, or Hybrid using Java/Selenium.
  • Demonstrated leadership in planning and executing Functional, E2E, and Regression testing.
  • Familiarity with UAT planning and coordination with business teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with offshore-onshore working models.
  • Thorough knowledge of the SDLC process and ability to resolve issues in collaboration with development teams.
