Strategic

  • Build and develop the marketing plans to support the company in achieving its strategic, financial and operational goals.
  • Support Senior Management in M&A activities. Reviewing potential targets and the markets they serve, as required.

Transactional and Process Management

  • Deliver marketing plans on time and in budget using agencies as appropriate.
  • Create engaging copy

Operations Management / Continuous Improvement

  • Work as a member of the Marketing Department in a collegial manner
  • Work with Market Insights, R&D, Commercial and operations to create marcomms materials that highlight and answer market issues in impactful manner
  • Review metrics on own campaign RoI and make changes, improvements, etc. to maximize their impact in a live manner.
  • Offer support to Market Insight to help create the most appropriate research tools

Performance Management

  • As a Market/Marketing SME provide input into Marketing Dept and organizational strategic plans.
  • Report on marketing RoI and provide budget financial forecasts.

Resourcing

  • Utilize internal and external resources to maximize RoI and to deliver best quality outputs.

Other

  • Continue to learn and develop not only in the required market vertical but also within the field of Marketing

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Significant demonstrable experience in Marketing within Clinical Research
  • Experience of managing multichannel campaigns
  • Extensive experience in the clinical trials industry. Strategic and tactical understanding of life science industry trends and opportunities and global management of service organizations.
  • In depth experience of CRO/Biopharma companies and their buying models
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases)
  • Experience using tools to communicate progress to Stakeholders.
  • Solid Professional experience in the same or very similar role
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in digital marketing

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience.
  • Member of CiM or similar
  • English: Fluent
