Job Summary

As a Technical Engineer, you will be supporting our engineering and manufacturing teams by creating precise and detailed drawings, ensuring design integrity, and maintaining meticulous documentation

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Engineer in the Katy, TX area .  This position will be full-time and on-site, with possible Hybrid Schedule.

This is 6 months with possible extension or permanent placement.

  • Create, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using SolidWorks

Work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into accurate drawings

  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements

  • Generate product documentation and procedures where necessary

  • Manage and organize drawing files, records, and related documentation in a systematic and accessible manner.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.

  • Support design reviews, quality checks, and production processes by providing accurate and timely drawings

  • What You'll Need

    Required:

    • Proficiency in SolidWorks

    • Experience working in PDM system

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

    • Prior experience in a drafting role, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or marine industries

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

    • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

    • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
