Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Graphic Design Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and revising graphics and images in response to requests for changes to complete any document draft. On a day-to-day basis, you will monitor the DTP inbox and DTP chat, pick up jobs, clarify the mark-up, provide an ETA, and then execute the work. You will need a knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and be able to manipulate photos and graphics, moving easily between file formats and tools. You will also have a basic knowledge of print and understand the impact of graphics and color decisions on print specifications.

This is a temporary contract position expected to last approximately one year. The work hours are 4:00PM - 12:00 AM Eastern Time, either Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through Thursday. This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Support accurate and quality delivery
- Consult with typesetters and customer service to understand graphic edits and ETA goals for delivery
- Collaborate with typesetter, QC, Customer Service and Composition supervisors on functional creative solutions for completion of graphics
- Responsible for understanding graphic mark up and executing within our XPP and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Monitor DTP inbox and update inbox with acceptance and completion of jobs
- Monitor DTP Teams chat, acknowledge receipt, and respond to requests for ETAs and updates on status
- Communicate directly shift supervisor on capacity, schedule and availability
- Collaboration with composition and design teams
- Understand functional areas of department and promote shadowing of team members for skills improvement.
- Promote a positive atmosphere and demonstrate excellent work ethic.
- Work successfully in a team environment by accepting/giving feedback and collaborating with others.
- Manage and evaluate the level and balance of skills on the shift to maintain quality and timely delivery
- Mentor and coach associates to improve in their role and maintain level of training
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Publication Design) with 2-5 years' experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity in financial print business, print production processes, equipment, and substrates
- Must possess good time management and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, collaborative team player able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Comfortable in picking up new technologies
- High attention to detail
- Additional hours required during Proxy Season (February-April), including weekends
- Must work a Tuesday to Saturday shift or a Sunday to Thursday shift
