The Business Solutions Lead (BSL) is responsible for interacting directly with our larger Clients and the Project Engagement Teams to define and develop solutions, products and process solutions to be delivered to the client based on their agreed upon requirements. As well as supporting efficient strategies and tactics to ensure engagement initiative goals are met and projects are delivered in a timely manner with exceptional quality.
This role will be engaged throughout the entire project life cycle of an engagement. The BSL will be partnering with Project Managers, Delivery leads and Executives, as well as our larger Clients in a lead position during the Client's business transformation to our suite of financial software products to ensure a positive outcome for the Client. In addition, you will be working with and supporting the sales team to conduct Product Demos to Clients to accelerate sales cycles.

In this role you will be the Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) to our clients. Utilizing your well-developed business analysis skills from services organizations, you will provide a consulting role partnering with our large clients during their business transformation to our suite of financial software products.
Key Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Be the primary business requirements point of contact with clients to interface with Broadridge
- Understand the business process requirements of our clients and help translate them into future state processes and support or prepare Business Requirement Document (BRD)
- Document and analyze the required information and data to understand and support the business processes
- Contribute to and ensure all project planning and internal requirements/steps are accounted for and actioned appropriately in the Project Plans.
- Oversee the clients' business requirements throughout the SDLC
- Strong familiarity with technical integration patterns, Broadridge's API definitions and business usage
- Leading System Requirement Document (SRD) walkthroughs with clients, Broadridge's architecture and development teams
- Liaise as required with client vendors in support of technical integration
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, training sessions, sales support to clients and potential stakeholders
- Support clients during the software configuration process to meet their business needs
- Travel may be required at client locations
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Education:
- College Diploma or University Degree, preferably in a Business and/or Computer/Software related discipline
- Any investment industry related certifications that pertain to investments and/or registered product management would be considered an asset
- 5+ years in a business analyst, business subject matter expert type role
- 2+ years in a Business Solutions Specialist (BSS) role
- Experience in the financial services sector. Knowledge of Term Deposits, Mutual Funds (record keeping or distribution), Equities, ETF, etc.
- Experience with portfolio management is a definite asset
- Financial industry knowledge including regulators and regulations (IIROC, MFDA, OSFI, FATCA, AML, CASL, etc.)
- Familiarity with Financial industry business data domains (CIF, Product, Finance, etc.)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and SDLC
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, "service-first" attitude combined with superior interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently on projects with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
- Fully bilingual (French / English verbal and written) would be an asset
