The Role

As the Associate Director for Processes, Risk, Audit, and Compliance at Kyndryl, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing processes, driving compliance, overseeing audits, and mitigating risks in alignment with the strategic objectives of our Global Real Estate and Facilities team.

What You'll Do:

Process Optimization

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive global processes and workflows for key real estate and facilities functions, such as lease administration, transaction management, facilities operations, and vendor performance.
  • Collaborate with regional and functional teams to harmonize global processes with local requirements, ensuring scalability, adaptability, and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and process maps.
  • Identify inefficiencies and redundancies in current workflows and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and lead training programs to ensure teams globally are educated on new processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Act as a central point of coordination for process-related initiatives across departments, including finance, legal, and procurement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by encouraging teams to provide feedback on existing processes and participate in improvement initiatives.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess risks across real estate and facilities functions, including lease administration, transactions, and vendor relationships.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to address risks and implement robust risk management frameworks.
  • Monitor compliance with risk management protocols, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements.

Audit Management

  • Lead preparation, coordination, and execution of internal and external audits related to global real estate and facilities operations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, auditors, and third-party providers.
  • Track and resolve audit findings, implementing corrective action plans and process improvements.

Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Partner with legal, finance, compliance, and regional leads to address compliance gaps and implement controls.
  • Develop training programs and communication plans to promote awareness and adherence to compliance standards across the organization.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional and global leaders, providing expertise on processes, risk, audit, and compliance matters.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and represent the Global Real Estate and Facilities team in enterprise-wide projects.
  • Manage and mentor a team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of practical experience in process improvement, risk and compliance.
  • Strong background in compliance, risk management, and process development.
  • Experience in global operations and real estate management.
  • Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive processes and workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with global real estate and facilities functions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and global standards.
  • Familiarity with audit management and compliance oversight.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $116,760 to $221,880 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $128,400 to $266,040
Colorado: $116,760 to $221,880
New York City: $140,040 to $266,040
Washington: $128,400 to $243,960
Washington DC: $128,400 to $243,960

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
